Retailers establish their own selling price for the Young America furniture. Yes. You can make purchases right here at youngamerica.com. You can also buy local and save by purchasing from a local retailer include working with a furniture specialist to help make your selections, local delivery service and even service, should you need it, after the sale.
Furniture Care and Cleaning
How should I clean and care for my Young America furniture?
- To protect your new furniture, we suggest the following:
- Do not place your furniture in direct sunlight and/or a damp area.
- Arrange your furniture so it is not placed in front of or over heating or air condi-tioning vents.
- Avoid placing furniture directly under windows.
- Be careful not to place rubber or plastic materials (place mats, lamp bases, notebooks, etc.) on your furniture. Certain rubber or plastics have ingredients that may react with and damage the finish.
- Occasionally rotate accessories so they do not remain in the same spot for ex-tended periods.
- Avoid creating marks on your furniture by placing a piece of felt, cloth or leather under accessories.
- Lift objects from the top surface rather than dragging them across the finish when moving them.
- Use a protective pad when using your furniture as a writing surface (especially when using a ballpoint pen).
- Wipe up spills promptly. Water left over a prolonged period of time will cause white spots in the finish, and alcohol, perfume, after-shave and medicines can cause severe damage to the finish.
- Dust frequently with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth. To remove accumulated dust or old furniture wax build-up, use a soft, lint-free cloth which has been dampened in a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Dry thoroughly using a clean, lint-free cloth and then apply furniture polish, wiping it in the direction of the wood grain. Young America recommends polishes that do NOT contain silicone or wax. Most furniture retailers, home improvement chains, home specialty stores, and some supermarkets offer these products.
- We recommend that furniture be polished every six months.

Many of our Young America retailers, as well as many hardware stores, sell Finish Repair Kits and other related materials that can handle most minor touch ups and repairs.
How can I get replacement parts for my Young America furniture?
Please contact your local furniture retailer to obtain any parts you might need. Here are a variety of additional options:
Brown Drawer Guides or Drawer Stops
You can contact our Customer Service center. We'll need a description of the hardware you need and for which piece of furniture it is for. If you don't know the group name of your furniture, please give us an item number of the piece including the type (bed, chair, etc.), and a description of its styling.
Light Bulbs or Light Assembly
Contact Furnlite for their extensive line of electrical lighting and components for your furniture.
Decorative or Assembly Hardware
You can contact our Customer Service center. We'll need a description of the hardware you need and for which piece of furniture it is for. If you don't know the group name of your furniture, please give us an item number of the piece including the type (bed, chair, etc.), and a description of its styling.
What should I do if I experience a problem with my Young America furniture?
Contact the Young America retailer from whom you made your purchase. The retailer assumes all responsibility for sales and servicing of Young America products.

I need to reassemble a piece of my Young America furniture. Where can I get assembly instructions?
Downloadable instructions for most collections and pieces are available in PDF format by finding the item(s) you have and there you will see options to download assembly instructions. If you know the product SKU please enter it in the form below. If you still need some assistance please feel free to Customer Service. Be sure to have the following information such as name of the group and the item number or description. This will help us identify the item you have.

Where can I get finish samples?
You can order finish samples direct from Young America. Visit our finish sample library or select the finish your interested in when viewing any of the main product pages.
Where can I find Young America furniture to coordinate with the Young America furniture group I have now?
You may want to visit a local retailer who can make recommendations for you. To get a general idea of coordinating furniture, select a product category such as bedroom, storage, etc., and then refine your selection by selecting a finish such as dark woodtone, light woodtone or an accent color. Or select an age group such as infant, pre school, etc. You will get back a list of all the furniture we have that meet your search criteria and you might just find the perfect match.
I'm interested in a particular group of Young America furniture. How can I find it?
Contact your local retailer to see if the item is in stock or can be ordered for you. You may also contact our Customer Service center. We'll need to know the group name (such as myHaven, Hampton Pointe, etc.). If you don't know the group name, please give us a description of the piece including the type (bed, chair, etc.), the color of the finish, and a description of its styling. The item number may also be found on the back of larger items and mirrors; or underneath table tops or chair seats.
Can I get Young America furniture customized to my needs?
We are unable to customize furniture. Larger production runs in our factories enable Young America furniture to offer a better valued product.

Furniture requires special consideration in shipping and delivery. In home white glove deliveries within the continental United States are provided by Zenith Home Services. Because of our commitment to exceptional customer service, Young America's white glove delivery carriers will unpack, place these furnishings in the room of your choice and discard the packing materials for you.
Furniture shipments generally take 2-3 weeks from the time the order leaves Young America, based on the final delivery location. The white glove delivery service will contact you to schedule a convenient delivery time based on your availability. We make every effort to display the most current and accurate product inventory information. You will receive notification in the event the availability date changes.Deliveries are generally scheduled within a four hour window during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Failure to meet the driver at the appointed time may result in an additional re-delivery charge.
Shipping charges are calculated a 9.9% of the total order price and are subject to a $99 minimum charge.
Return Policy
Custom-designed furnishings and other made-to-order items require payment in full upon order, and cannot be returned or exchanged.
All Young America furniture is considered custom and we makes fabric and finish samples available to help you select the appropriate colors and designs for your decor. Because custom items cannot be returned, Young America suggests that you contact a Customer Service Representative to request a sample prior to purchasing. If you do not have an existing Freight Forwarder, international shipments will incur additional shipping charges. A customer service representative will contact you within one business day with your exact shipping charges. Please note that international orders will not be processed until final approval by the customer and will also require additional shipping time. Custom-designed furnishings and other made-to-order items require payment in full upon order, and cannot be returned or exchanged. All Young America items are custom items.
Young America makes finish samples available to help you select the appropriate colors and designs for your decor. Because custom items cannot be returned, Young America suggests that you contact consumer service specialist to purchase a sample prior to completing your order. You can email Customer Service or call us at 1-800-659-7297 Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. (eastern standard time).
Cancellations
Young America works to ship orders as quickly as possible. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel your order after it has been placed. If you need to cancel your order please call us ASAP (within 3 business days of placing your order) at 1-800-659-7297 and we will attempt to cancel your order. If your order has already shipped, please see our returns policy for further instructions.
