Shipping Methods & Charges
Furniture requires special consideration in shipping and delivery. As a part of our commitment to exceptional customer service, Young America's white glove delivery lets you sit back and relax while your furniture is set up for you: delivery is made inside your residence to the room of your choice (includes carrying the product up two (2) flights of stairs from the threshold*). The carrier will unpack the product and remove the packaging for you. They will also provide 15 minutes of basic setup that requires no tools (e.g. will set pieces next to each other or on top of each other). The shipping company will call you in advance to schedule a delivery appointment window, and you must be at home to receive the order. Please note that deliveries cannot be made to a PO Box.
*The carrier is not responsible for connecting electrical components that may be placed on or inside the item. If your order will need to be carried up more than 25 steps, or you require longer assembly or setup time please contact us. These services are often available but there will be additional charges.
Furniture shipments generally take 2-3 weeks from the time the order leaves Young America, depending on the final delivery location. Tracking information will be sent to you via email so you are able to track your order online. The White Glove delivery service provider will contact you to schedule a convenient delivery time based on your availability. We make every effort to display the most current and accurate product inventory information on our website. You will receive notification in the event there is an availability date change. Deliveries are generally scheduled within a 4-hour window during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Failure to meet the driver at the appointed time may result in an additional re-delivery charge.
Custom-finished furnishings and other made-to-order items require payment in full upon order, and cannot be returned or exchanged. All Young America items are custom items.
Young America makes finish samples available to help you select the appropriate colors and designs for your decor. Because custom items cannot be returned, Young America suggests that you contact a Customer Service Representative to purchase a finish sample prior to completing your order. It is also important to review the appearance and nature of finish illustrated on this website before ordering. We do not currently support delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada or other international locations through youngamerica.com.
